YR7 Student Council Representatives
Congratulations to Heather Reeve 7CS and Sigrid Mularczyk 7KI, who were both elected as the school council representatives for their year group. On Friday 5th October all candidates were broadcasted giving their candidate speeches in assembly. As they were projected onto the big screen, all students listened intently to what they had to say. Students were then given voting slips, and the votes came rolling in. It was a very close battle, particularly between 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place. The percentage of votes went in the following order:
14% Ben Gregory
16% Lucy Tanner
17% Alice Bennett
22% Sigrid Mularczyk
31% Heather Reeve
Congratulations to all of the students who took part, and although not all of them could be representatives, I do hope that they will still have the enthusiasm to be involved in Council activities in some way. Good luck to Heather and Sigrid.
