As STUDENT VOICE does like to get involved with raising money for charities, it would be nice to hear about your ideas. Have you ever raised money for a charity before, which one and how did you do it? How should we go about raising money for charity as a school - you never know, your idea could be the next event at Kirk Hallam!We will be holding a collection of old, used or broken jewellery for Marie Curie Cancer Care on 4th and 5th October. On the 13th April this year, Mrs Bennett will be running the London Marathon in aid of the Tree Tops Hospice, a local organisation and charity. Training is going well, so as long as injury stays away, all should go well on the day. Details of how to sponsor Mrs Bennett will soon be available on the Student Voice notice board.
